Vietnam: 38 information technology and communications commodities subject to declaration and certification of conformity

On May 08, 2018, the Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam issued Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BTTTT on the list of potentially unsafe commodities under its management.

According to Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BTTTT of the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam, the list of information technology and communications commodities subject to declaration and certification of conformity includes:

- Terminal equipment;

- Land mobile communication terminal equipment: radar equipment; short-range radio transceivers; radio equipment; etc.

The Circular No. 42/2016/TT-BTTTT of the Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam shall continue to apply to the commodities already granted the certificate of conformity before the effective date of this Circular until the expiry date specified in the certificate of conformity.

Moreover, enclosed with Circular No. 04/2018/TT-BTTTT is also the list of information technology and communications commodities subject to declaration of conformity.
