The 09 tasks of illiteracy eradication for people living in ethnic minority areas in 2024 in Vietnam include:

- Training for key teachers at the provincial level of educational institutions and officers, and soldiers of the Border Guard on teaching the Illiteracy Eradication Program in phase 2;

- Editing and digitalizing the Instructional Materials for the Illiteracy Eradication Program phase 2 (for teachers and learners);

- Surveying, researching, and drafting the Evaluation Tool for re-illiteracy in ethnic minority areas;

- Organizing the Scheme to enhance the capacity and performance of community learning centers in ethnic minority and mountainous commune areas;

- Conducting communication and propaganda on the illiteracy eradication activities for people living in ethnic minority areas;

- Operating and managing a dedicated page, producing and compiling information, and broadcasting about illiteracy eradication activities for people living in ethnic minority areas on the Ministry of Education and Training’s Electronic Information Portal;

- Holding workshops for exchange, experience-sharing, and honoring exemplary models in illiteracy eradication work for people living in ethnic minority areas in 2024;

- Providing professional training for media personnel on propaganda activities about illiteracy eradication for people living in ethnic minority areas in 2024;

- Conducting communication and propaganda about activities to improve the quality of managerial staff, teachers of boarding ethnic secondary schools, semi-boarding ethnic secondary schools, and secondary schools with semi-boarding students under the National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas during 2021 - 2025.
