Vietnam: 06 new forms used for technical and environmental safety inspection of imported motor vehicles

The Ministry of Transport of Vietnam issued Circular No. 05/2020/TT-BGTVT on amendments to some articles of the Circular No. 03/2018/TT-BGTVT dated January 10, 2018 on technical and environmental safety inspection of imported motor vehicles.

From April 15, 2020, 06 new forms issued together with Circular No. 05/2020/TT-BGTVT of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam will be applied, specifically as follows:

- Form No. 01: Certificate of conformity from inspection of technical safety quality and environmental protection for imported motor vehicle;

- Form No. 02: Notice of non-conformity;

- Form No. 03: Notice of imported motor vehicles on the list of prohibited import motor vehicles;

- Form No. 04: Sampling minute;

- Form No. 05: Classification of certification systems by country of manufacture;

- Form No. 06: Regulations on the cycle of application of the method of testing and testing of model vehicles for consignments of the same type imported from the country applying the type certification method.
