Vietnam: 04 positions of leadership and management of non-business units in the field of archiving

Below is the content mentioned in Circular 14/2022/TT-BNV dated December 31, 2022 guiding the job positions of leaders, managers and specialized professional titles in public non-business units in the field of archival promulgated by the Minister of Home Affairs of Vietnam.

According to Vietnam's Circular 14/2022/TT-BNV, the list of leadership and management positions in public service providers in the archival field includes:

- Director position;

- The position of Deputy Director;

- The position of Head of Department;

- The position of Deputy Head of Department.

(The job description and competency framework for each leadership and management position mentioned above are specified in Appendix I to Vietnam's Circular 14/2022/TT-BNV)

The basis for determining the position of leadership and management in public service providers in the field of archiving shall comply with the provisions of Clause 1, Article 4 of Vietnam's Decree 106/2020/ND-CP.

More details can be found in Vietnam's Circular 14/2022/TT-BNV which took effect on February 15, 2023, and fully annuls Vietnam's Decision 62/2005/QD-BNV.
