Vietnam: 02 amended administrative procedures in the field of judicial records

On June 23, 2021, the Ministry of Justice of Vietnam issued Decision 1050/QD-BTP on publication of administrative procedures for correction changes and supplements in the field of judicial records under the management function of the Ministry of Justice.

The decision announced 02 amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the field of judicial records in Vietnam, specifically:

- Central administrative procedures:

Issuing a criminal record card to a Vietnamese citizen whose place of permanent or temporary residence cannot be determined; foreigners who have resided in Vietnam (by the National Center for Criminal Records, Ministry of Justice).

- Provincial administrative procedures:

Issuance of criminal record cards for Vietnamese citizens and foreigners residing in Vietnam (by the Department of Justice)

Decision 1050/QD-BTP takes effect from July 1, 2021.
