Vehicles in Operation Must Be Sanitized Before and After Picking Up Passengers

This is the notable content in Official Dispatch 1878/TCDBVN-VT dated March 30, 2020, regarding the continued implementation of Directive 15/CT-TTg dated March 27, 2020, of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.

suspension of activities for contract vehicles and tourist vehicles with more than 09 seats traveling to/from Hanoi City and Ho Chi Minh City from 00:00 March 30, 2020. Except for contract vehicles used to transport workers to industrial zones, manufacturing plants, vehicles serving funerals, weddings, vehicles transporting people to centralized quarantine, and other cases aimed at serving the Covid-19 prevention and control objectives as directed by competent state authorities are still allowed to operate.

Among those, the trips that are allowed to operate must meet the following requirements:

- Disinfect the vehicle before and after picking up passengers;- Do not transport more than 50% of the seats on the vehicle and no more than 20 people per trip;- Drivers, service staff, and passengers must wear masks, undergo health checks before boarding, and declare health status as per the regulations.
