Urgently proposing amendments and supplements to legislative documents to streamline the organizational structure in Vietnam

Regarding the Report on the Implementation of the Legislative Program and the Issuance of Detailed Regulations for Enforcing Laws and Ordinances in 2024, and Tasks for 2025, the Government of Vietnam primarily agrees with the Report on the Implementation of the Legislative Program and the Issuance of Detailed Regulations for Enforcing Laws and Ordinances in 2024, and Tasks for 2025, in document number 589/BC-BTP dated December 31, 2024, of the Ministry of Justice. The ministries, agencies, and localities are required to:

- Urgently review, research, propose amendments, and supplements to legislative documents to rearrange and streamline the organizational apparatus immediately during the summary process of Resolution 18-NQ/TW. If immediate amendments are unnecessary, plans and schedules for suitable revisions should be developed without interrupting production, business activities, and socio-economic development.

- Draft, issue under authority, or submit to competent authorities for issuance detailed regulations for the laws passed from the 7th Session and earlier and ensure the timely issuance of 130 documents detailing the laws and resolutions passed by the National Assembly at the 8th Session.

- Ministries and ministerial-level agencies shall implement the evaluation and summary of the Conclusion 19-KL/TW dated October 14, 2021, of the Politburo on the Orientation of the Legislative Program for the XV National Assembly term within their scope of state management, and send it to the Ministry of Justice for consolidation and reporting to the Government of Vietnam.

Based on the evaluation and summary results of the Conclusion 19-KL/TW of the Politburo from ministries and agencies, assign the Ministry of Justice to lead, continue to cooperate with ministries and agencies to study and develop the Scheme on the Orientation of the Legislative Program for the XVI National Assembly term of the Government of Vietnam.
