Urgent Dispatch: Prime Minister Orders Gradual Easing of Social Distancing Measures from April 23, 2020

This is a notable content stipulated in Notice No. 164/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc at the Standing Government meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control.

To be specific, after listening to the report from the National Steering Committee on Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the Government Office, opinions from Deputy Prime Ministers, and other participants, the Prime Minister has directed as follows:

- Chairpersons of the Provincial and City People's Committees must facilitate the circulation of goods, production, business, and services while ensuring the implementation of measures to prevent and control the epidemic;- Not yet to receive international tourists, local authorities shall determine the opening for domestic tourists under the condition of ensuring the implementation of epidemic prevention measures as guided;- When there are no vaccines and specific treatments for COVID-19 available, it is required to adapt and "coexist" with the epidemic, gradually creating a new normal state in the epidemic conditions;- Provinces and cities in the low-risk group shall continue to relax restrictions, gradually restoring socio-economic activities;- ...
