On May 7, 2024, the Government of Vietnam issued Resolution 65/NQ-CP regarding the Government of Vietnam's regular monthly meeting of April 2024.

The Government of Vietnam assigns the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam to take the lead, coordinate closely with Ministries and agencies to urgently complete the dossier to report to the Politburo on wage reform by May 2024 as a basis for developing normative documents to implement the new wage policy according to the Resolution 27-NQ/TW from July 1, 2024, in accordance with the directives of the Government of Vietnam and the leaders of the Government of Vietnam.

- Proactively advise competent authorities to resolve some difficulties and obstacles in arranging administrative units at district and commune levels; urge and guide localities to promptly implement the process of arranging administrative units at district and commune levels, ensuring completion before September 30, 2024;

At the same time, adequately address arising issues, strengthen information dissemination and propaganda to create consensus among the people where administrative units are being arranged.

Strengthen the responsibility of coordinating, monitoring, and urging the implementation of job positions of ministries, agencies, and localities.

- Coordinate closely with ministries, agencies, and localities to review and streamline the organization of public service providers, reducing staff in accordance with the spirit of the Resolutions of the 6th Plenum of the 12th Central Committee, the Resolutions of the National Assembly, and the directives of the Government of Vietnam, the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam, and the Steering Committee for Innovation and Organization of the administrative apparatus of ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies under the Government of Vietnam.

Urge ministries and agencies to promptly draft the Prime Minister’s Decision to issue the list of public service providers under the Ministry, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the general departments; appraise for ministries and agencies to finalize the draft for the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam to consider and decide.

- Take the lead, cooperate with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and relevant agencies to develop the Implementation Plan for the Emulation Movement to eliminate temporary, dilapidated houses nationwide, report to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam before May 15, 2024.
