January 16, 2017, the Government of Vietnam officially signed and passed Decree 03/2017/ND-CP on Casino Business.

regulations on the operating hours of casino business enterprises are as follows:

- Enterprises are allowed to organize casino business activities every day of the year, except on days when activities are not permitted according to the decision of the competent state management agency.

The operating hours must be publicly listed at the business location.- Enterprises have the right to temporarily suspend business activities as per management needs and must publicly list this at the business location at least 15 days before the suspension.- Enterprises suspend activities upon the request of the state management agency.

Additionally, the Decree stipulates a pilot project allowing Vietnamese citizens to enter and play at casino business locations for a pilot period of 3 years but must meet certain conditions (regarding age, civil act capacity, financial capacity, etc.).
