Upcoming 08 Decrees, 01 Decision, and 36 New Circulars on Commerce

On December 28, 2017, the Ministry of Industry and Trade signed Decision 867/QD-BCT promulgating the Program for the drafting of legal normative documents (VBQPPL) for the year 2018 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

According to the Program, units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade assigned to lead the drafting of legal normative documents are responsible for cooperating with relevant agencies and units to prepare the draft documents for submission to the competent authorities.

For instance, some of the Drafts include:

- Decree on industrial explosives and explosive precursors;- Decree amending and supplementing Decree 185/2013/ND-CP on penalties for administrative violations in commercial activities, production, trading in counterfeit goods, prohibited goods and protection of consumer rights;- Decree detailing certain provisions of the Competition Law;- Decision of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam on the structure of retail electricity prices (replacing Decision 28/2014/QD-TTg dated April 07, 2014);- Circular stipulating market inspection cards;- Circular guiding the process of inspection and verification of goods origin.
