University lecturers only need 1 certificate to rank professional titles

On March 4, 2022, the Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular 04/2022/TT-BGDDT amending Circular 40/2020/TT-BGDDT stipulating codes, standards for professional titles, appointment and salary classification for employees. teaching staff in public higher education institutions.

Accordingly, amending standards for training certificates to rank professional titles for university lecturers as follows:

Lecturers only need to have a certificate of training according to the professional title standards of university lecturers.

Currently, according to Circular 40/2020/TT-BGDĐT stipulating standards for training certificates corresponding to the professional titles of lecturers, for example, lecturers (grade III) must have a standard training certificate. Standards for professional titles of lecturers grade III.

Thus, lecturers will only need a single certificate instead of requiring a certificate of training to the corresponding professional title standards to enter each category of professional titles as current regulations.

Note : Officials who have obtained training certificates according to professional title standards of teaching staff in public higher education institutions before June 30, 2022 are determined to meet the requirements for certification. only provide training according to the professional title standards of university lecturers; concurrently used when taking exams or considering for promotion and not having to study a refresher program according to the professional title standards of university lecturers under this Circular.

Circular 04/2022/TT-BGDDT takes effect from April 19, 2022.
