Types of organizations to manage national tourist resorts in Vietnam

On May 19, 2022, the Government issued Decree 30/2022/ND-CP stipulating the management model of the national tourist area in Vietnam.

Accordingly, the types of organizations managing national tourist resorts in Vietnam include:

- The national tourist area management unit under the management of a ministry or ministerial-level agency.

- The National Tourist Area Management Board is under the management of the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities.

- Enterprises invest in the formation of national tourist zones.

In which, the National Tourist Area Management Board is selected by the People's Committee of the province where the national tourist area is located and organizes the establishment or reorganization of the Management Board in one of the following cases:

- Establishing a new or reorganizing the Management Board which is a public non-business unit under the provincial People's Committee to manage the national tourist area;

- Reorganize the specialized management board being a public non-business unit into a public non-business unit under the provincial-level People's Committee to manage the national tourist area and perform the functions and tasks as prescribed by law. relevant laws.
