On May 24, 2021, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued Statement 680/CD-TTg on ensuring COVID-19 safety in industrial parks.

According to the Dispatch, the Prime Minister of Vietnam asked the Chairman of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities in Vietnam to direct the following implementation:

- All workers in industrial parks, factories, and related people (suppliers, transporters of materials, goods, meals, ...) must declare health.

- Strictly sanction cases of non-declaration and untruthful declaration.

In addition, to ensure COVID-19 safety in industrial parks in Vietnam:

- All industrial parks, factories, and enterprises must strictly follow regulations on epidemic prevention and control, self-assess safety levels, and update the COVID-19 map.

- Suspend the operation immediately when it is not safe and do not update the security level on the system.

- The Ministry of Health of Vietnam urgently issues documents guiding the isolation and testing of workers in industrial parks, factories, and enterprises in accordance with the characteristics of each region.
