Training programs for health public employees in Vietnam according to Circular 26/2018/TT-BYT

The Ministry of Health (Hanoi, Vietnam) has issued Circular 26/2018/TT-BYT stipulating the organization and implementation of training programs according to the professional title standards for public employees in the healthcare sector for training and research institutions.

Training programs for health public employees in Vietnam according to Circular 26/2018/TT-BYT include:

- Higher education institutions offering health sector training at the undergraduate level or higher, and special class public service provider healthcare units organize training programs for medical public employees of classes I, II, III, and IV;

- Class I healthcare non-business units and training centers, health personnel, and population centers are organized to provide training programs for medical public employees of classes II, III, and IV;

- Colleges providing health sector training and Class II public service provider healthcare units are organized to provide training programs for medical public employees of classes III and IV.

Note, training institutions in Vietnam must meet the standards specified in Articles 3, 4, 5, and 6 of Circular 26/2018/TT-BYT.

Circular 26/2018/TT-BYT takes effect in Vietnam on December 10, 2018.
