On January 02, 2018, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular 01/2018/TT-BTC on the management and use of funds to ensure traffic order and safety (TTATGT).
Accordingly:
- Funding for traffic safety assurance (TTATGT) is allocated from the Ministry's regular budget, supplemented by the central budget and other aid funds;- Expenses for visiting and supporting traffic accident (TNGT) victims and the families of deceased victims range from VND 2,000,000 to VND 5,000,000 per person, depending on the case;- During Tet holidays, “World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims”: Expenses for visiting are up to VND 2,000,000 per person for seriously injured victims and families of deceased victims in difficult circumstances due to TNGT;- Allowances for officers and soldiers directly participating in ensuring traffic safety assurance (TTATGT) at night are up to VND 100,000 per person per shift (one shift is at least 4 hours);- Expenses for traffic safety assurance tasks are implemented according to the current financial expenditure norms and policies prescribed by the competent state agency.
Circular 01/2018/TT-BTC takes effect from March 1, 2018, replacing Circular 137/2013/TT-BTC.
