Toward the Goal of More Than 90% of Citizens Satisfied with Healthcare Services

On October 25, 2017, the Central Executive Committee approved Resolution 20-NQ/TW on strengthening the work of protection, care, and improvement of the people's health in the new situation.

To improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, the Central Executive Committee requires a renewal of service style and attitude, enhancing medical ethics; building green - clean - beautiful, safe, and civilized hospitals, with the goal of striving to:

- By 2025, the satisfaction rate of the population with medical services should reach over 80%;- By 2030, the satisfaction rate of the population with medical services should reach over 90%.

Concurrently:

- Completing the system of protocols, processes, and treatment guidelines uniformly nationwide;- Issuing evaluation criteria, conducting independent assessments, and ranking hospitals according to quality in line with international practices;- Implementing a roadmap for seamless medical examination and treatment; a roadmap for interoperability, and recognition of test results among medical facilities associated with enhancing service quality.
