Total Revenue and Expenditure of the Central Budget in 2018

Resolution 50/2017/QH14 on the allocation of the central budget for 2018 stipulates:

- The total central budget revenue is 753,404 billion VND. The total local budget revenue is 565,796 billion VND;- The total central budget expenditure is 948,404 billion VND. Of which, 321,151 billion VND is estimated for budget balancing supplements and targeted supplements for local budgets.

According to Resolution 50, in the 2018-2020 period, the National Assembly assigns the Government of Vietnam to:

- Supplement the local budget with 70% of administrative violation fines in the field of traffic safety (ATGT) from the part of the central budget that accrues in each locality in the preceding year of the current year;- Allocate the remaining 30% to the Ministry of Public Security for expenditures to ensure traffic safety order, centrally procure vehicles, and professional equipment.

At the same time, regulate support for local police with difficult revenue sources to serve the work of ensuring traffic safety order in the area.
