To urgently amend the Vietnam's Law on Cooperatives 2012

The Central Executive Committee of Viethnam issued Resolution 20-NQ/TWdated June 16, 2022 on continuing to innovate, develop and improve collective economic efficiency in the new period.

According to Vietnam's resolution, one of the solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of the collective economy is:

To urgently amend the Vietnam's Law on Cooperatives 2012 and other legal provisions related to the collective economy and cooperatives.

While pending the amendment and supplementation of legal provisions on the collective economy, pilot amendments in the Resolution which is different from the current regulations.

In addition, strengthening state management over the collective economy nationwide.

Building a management team with expertise, professionalism, and intensive training in collective economy.

Enhancing transparency in state management of the collective economy, application of information technology, digital transformation in management.

Enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of supervision, inspection and examination.

The Government of Vietnam consolidates and enhances the role of the National Steering Committee of Vietnam on collective economy.

Strengthen coordination among relevant agencies in the development and implementation of external activities and international cooperation in the collective economy.
