Below is the content of Resolution 143/NQ-CP dated November 4, 2022 on the regular Government meeting of Vietnam in October 2022.
According to Resolution 143/NQ-CP, the Government of Vietnam requests the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with agencies and localities in, the following contents:
- Review, and soon to issue amendments and supplements to Decree 95/2021/ND-CP and Decree 83/2014/ND-CP on petrol and oil trading in accordance with a shortened order and procedures, gathering opinions from affected stakeholders, ensuring that it is appropriate to the current situation, public, transparent, effective, and harmonizes the interests of the state, enterprises, and people;
Submit to the Government of Vietnam the revised Decree in November 2022.
- Implement drastic solutions to continue to expand and diversify markets, export products, and supply chains, especially for advantageous export products.
Organize the effective implementation of signed free trade agreements (FTAs) and continue to promote the signing of FTAs.
- Expand markets for information technology application and digital transformation; strengthen information work; assist market enterprises; and export products.
- Implement synchronous solutions to ensure the supply of petrol and oil for the domestic market; manage petrol and oil prices in accordance with the law; strengthen inspection and supervision of the market; strictly handle violations.
- Review progress and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles to soon put large industrial projects into operation, contributing to economic growth.
