To support Vietnamese citizens returning from neighboring countries the cost for quarantine

Below is the remarkable content specified in Resolution 48/NQ-CP dated 6/5/2021 at the regular meeting of the Government of Vietnam in April 2021.

According to the Resolution, the government agrees that Vietnamese citizens from neighboring countries returning home by land when quarantined according to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control will be supported by the state budget with the following costs:

  • Transportation from facilities and detection sites to medical isolation centers;
  • SARS-CoV-2 screening test

  • Some other benefits are at mandatory isolation facilities.

In addition, regarding the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic:

  • The government agreed with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the allocation of funds for COVID-19 prevention and control and requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front to launch donations to organizations and individuals, businesses, and government agencies to supplement resources to buy Covid-19 vaccines.
  • The government also requested the organization to strictly implement the directions of the Secretariat, the Government, the Prime Minister of Vietnam, and the head of the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 prevention and control with the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy," putting the interests of the nation, the nation, and the people's health first and foremost.

  •  

    Continued compliance with 5K+ vaccines and enhanced technological measures

  • Resolutely handle irresponsible acts and violations of regulations on epidemic prevention and control, including considering and handling criminal liability.
