To strictly handle violations of traffic safety regulations during the holiday from April 30-May 1 in Vietnam

Specifically, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam to perform the following tasks:

- Direct the strengthening of patrol, control, and strictly handle violations of road, railway, and waterway traffic order and safety, such as:

+ The vehicle operator violates the regulations on alcohol and drug concentration, carries an overload, or exceeds the prescribed number of people;

+ Means of transport violate regulations on technical safety and environmental protection...;

- Actively prevent and strictly handle acts of gathering causing public disorder, illegal racing;

- Resolutely handle and suppress those who have committed acts against official duty performers;

- Have a plan to regulate and divide the stream reasonably, guide safe and smooth traffic, especially on roads and areas where the volume of vehicles is forecast to increase on the occasion of Hung King's death anniversary, April 30-May 1, and summer vacation 2023.

In addition, the Prime Minister of Vietnam often requests the Ministry of Transport to direct agencies directly under the Ministry, Departments of Transport, and transport business units to develop plans for transportation organizations to meet people's travel needs, ensure traffic safety, reduce traffic congestion, and strictly comply with regulations on the prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic;

Embellish and ensure the safety conditions of traffic infrastructure, especially main traffic routes, important traffic hubs in big cities and areas attracting large numbers of tourists;

Expeditiously handle newly arising traffic accident black spots; review and supplement the system of signals and signposts to ensure easy identification and convenience for traffic participants;

Inspect the implementation of regulations on ensuring traffic safety for transport business activities, strictly handle violations; organize temporary rest stops along the new highways put into operation.
