To strengthen measures to overcome the situation of unregistered taxis at the airport in Vietnam

Below is the content at Directive 06/CT-TTg dated 24/02/2023 on improving the capacity of aviation security and safety in the new situation in Vietnam.

According to Vietnam's Directive 06/CT-TTg, the Prime Minister of Vietnam requested the provincial People's Committee implement solutions to improve aviation security capacity in the new situation, for example, as follows:

- In various forms, organize propaganda and education of the law on social order, security, and aviation safety, supplementing the annual program of law propaganda, dissemination, and education in localities; strengthen patrols to control and remedy the situation of storks and parachute taxis at airports and airfields;

- Deploying and strengthening bus routes and passenger transport services connecting urban centers and tourist centers to and from airports;

- Implement plans to prevent and respond to the use of high-power light sources, laser lights, kite flying, unmanned aircraft, and ultra-light aircraft; well manage the activities of paragliding clubs, avoiding threats to aviation safety;

- Actively coordinating with ministries, branches, agencies, and enterprises operating in the aviation field based in their localities to effectively and synchronously implement measures to ensure aviation security.
