To reduce payroll of the public service receiving salaries from Vietnam's state budget

Directive 12/CT-TTg dated 22/7/2022 stipulates the development of the economic development plan - Social and state budget estimates in 2023 of Vietnam.

The Directive stipulates a number of contents as follows:

To develop cost estimates for public service units on the basis of the orientations in Resolution 19-NQ/TW of the 6th Plenum of the 12th Central Committee of Vietnam, Vietnam's Resolution 01/2021/UBTVQH15, Decision 30/2021/QD -TTg and Decree 60/2021/ND-CP.

Public service units that cover a portion of recurrent expenditures by themselves under ministries and central agencies that develop state budget expenditure estimates in 2023 will reduce at least 3% of direct support expenditures from the state budget compared with the estimate in 2022, reducing the public service payrolls receiving salaries from the state budget in accordance with Vietnam's Resolution 19-NQ/TW;

Public service units whose recurrent expenditures are guaranteed by the state budget under ministries and central agencies will continue to reduce at least 2% of direct expenditures from the state budget compared to the 2022 estimate, excluding services. basic and essential public works guaranteed by the state budget of Vietnam
