To prevent stagnation at motor vehicle registration centers in Vietnam

Below is the content at Directive 03/CT-TTg dated January 27, 2023 on urging the implementation of key tasks after Vietnam Lunar New Year holiday 2023.

In which, the Prime Minister of Vietnam requested the Ministry of Transport:

- Assume the prime responsibility for directing, guiding, and coordinating with localities and functional forces to strengthen inspection and control of transport business activities, strictly handle violations, and ensure traffic safety.

- Review professional registration processes as soon as possible, correct errors as soon as possible, and guide registration centers to maintain normal operations while ensuring technical safety inspection and protection. In the motor vehicle environment, there should be no congestion at motor vehicle registration centers of Vietnam.

- Strengthen regulation, organize transportation, and provide enough vehicles to meet post-Tet travel needs, particularly for festival goers and workers returning to work;

Minimize flight delays and cancellations;

Strictly handle acts of illegally increasing ticket prices;

Actively discharge the station (opening the bay) to relieve the vehicle when there is a prolonged traffic jam in Vietnam.

- Continue to direct and accelerate the construction of critical national transportation infrastructure development projects.

More details can be found in Vietnam's Directive 03/CT-TTg dated January 27, 2023.
