Procedures for recognizing the completion of a notary practice internship in Vietnam

Instructions on procedures for recognition of completion of notary practice internship are as follows:

(1) Implementation sequence

- Within 15 days from the end of the probationary period, the probationer must submit a written request for recognition of completion of the internship, accompanied by the Internship Results Report and Internship Diary Book (certified copy or photocopy with original for comparison) send to the Department of Justice where the probationer is registered.

- Within 10 days from the date of receipt of the request, the Department of Justice shall issue a decision to recognize the completion of the notary practice internship; In case of refusal, a written response must be provided clearly stating the reason.

(2) How to do it: Submit directly, send by post, or through the Public Administrative Service Center.

(3) Document components:

- Written request for recognition of internship completion;

- Internship results report and Internship Diary Book (certified copy or photocopy with original for comparison).

Number of documents: 01 set

(4) Processing time: 10 days from the date of receipt of complete and valid documents.

(5) Subjects carrying out administrative procedures: Individuals.

(6) Agency handling administrative procedures: Department of Justice.

(7) Results of administrative procedures: Decision recognizing completion of a notary practice internship or a written refusal clearly stating the reason.

Conditions for recognition of completion of a notary practice internship in Vietnam

Apprentices are recognized as having completed their notary practice internship when they meet the following conditions:

- The probationer meets the probationary conditions and does not fall into the cases in which probationary registration is not permitted;

- The notary instructing the trainees is qualified to instruct the trainees and is not in cases where the notary instructing the trainees must be changed during the process of instructing the trainees;

- The apprentice completes the probationary period; Have an Internship Results Report and Internship Journal submitted on time, meeting the requirements according to the law and attached forms; Fully perform the other obligations of a probationer.

Decision 2683/QĐ-BTP 2023 takes effect on November 20, 2023.
