To issue 08 appendices in preservation and maintenance of fire prevention and fighting equipment in Vietnam

Recently, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam issued Circular 17/2021/TT-BCA on the management, preservation and maintenance of means of fire prevention and fighting and rescue.

Promulgated together with Vietnam's Circular 17/2021/TT-BCA are the appendices used in the management, preservation, and maintenance of fire prevention, fighting, and rescue vehicles from March 22, 2021, specifically:

Appendix I: Preservation and maintenance of fire and rescue vehicles.
Appendix II: Preservation and maintenance of common firefighting equipment.
Appendix III. Preservation and management of personal protective equipment and clothing.
Appendix IV: Preservation and maintenance of rescue equipment.
Appendix V: Preservation and maintenance of manual dismantling equipment.
Appendix VI: Preservation and maintenance of communications equipment.
Appendix VII. Preservation and maintenance of fire alarm and fire fighting systems; emergency lighting system; fire retardants; flameproof materials.
Appendix VIII: Model log of operation of fire and rescue vehicles.

More details can be found in Vietnam's Circular 17/2021/TT-BCA, effective from March 22, 2021, replacing Vietnam's Circular 52/2014/TT-BCA.
