To improve the quality of doctoral training in Vietnam up to international standards

Directive No. 03/CT-TTg dated May 11, 2022 on improving the quality of high-quality human resource training, the Prime Minister requires to improve the quality of master's and doctorate training in Vietnam conformable with international training standards.

The Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam shall assume the prime responsibility for Particularly:

 

- To develop the system of quality assurance and accreditation of Vietnam's higher education in conformity with regional and international standards and practices;

 

- To step up the application of information technology, complete databases in order to raise the effectiveness of the state management of postgraduate training;

 

- To intensify the inspection, examination and supervision of the implementation of regulations on postgraduate training at training establishments, and strictly handle violations according to regulations;

 

- Direct postgraduate training institutions to implement plans for increasing the master's, doctoral and application levels in Vietnam as follows:

 

+ To formulate and promulgate regulations guiding the postgraduate training according to its competence; to comply with training program standards; the current regulations on postgraduate recruitment and training;

 

+ Consolidate the quality assurance system inside the training institution; and

 

To strictly observe the regulations on quality inspection, encourage the testing under the prestigious regional and international organizations' standards;

 

+ Implementing publicly and transparently the steps of enrollment, training organization and grant of diplomas ...
