To cut down and simplify business regulations of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam

According to Decision 484/QD-BGTVT, the content of cutting down and simplifying business regulations of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam in 2023 is as follows:

- Complete statistics, update data, and calculate costs to comply with regulations related to business activities under the management of the Ministry of Transport into the statistical software, reviewed under the guidance of the Government Office;

Summarize, report on statistical results, calculate costs of compliance with regulations related to business activities under the management of the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam, and send it to the Government Office for monitoring;

Regularly update regulations related to business activities that are amended, supplemented, replaced, annulled, or canceled, along with fluctuations in compliance costs on statistical and review software.

- Lead and coordinate with relevant ministries, agencies, and the Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform to review, reduce and simplify regulations related to business activities under the management function of the Ministry of Transport;

Develop a plan to reduce and simplify regulations related to business activities and submit it to the Prime Minister before September 30 every year (if any).

Before submitting the plans to the Prime Minister for approval, they must be sent to relevant ministries and agencies for comments.
(For the plan to reduce and simplify regulations related to specialized inspection of imported and exported goods, it must be submitted to the Ministry of Finance for opinions.)

- Regularly dialogue, consult, receive, and collect opinions from organizations, business associations, and objects complying with regulations that are no longer appropriate, are barriers, and cause difficulties for business activities;

About solutions, reduction and simplification plans, and recommendations for amendments and supplements related to business activities in order to remove difficulties and obstacles for the business activities of enterprises and people.

- Formulate, promulgate, and submit to competent authorities for promulgation documents the implementation of the plan to reduce, simplify (amend, supplement, replace, annul, or cancel) regulations related to business activities in the field of transportation immediately after the reduction and simplification plan was approved by the Prime Minister.

- Before June 25 and before December 25 of each year, summarize and report the situation and results of the reduction and simplification of regulations related to business activities in the field of transportation for 6 months and a year, and send it to the Government Office for reporting to the Government and the Prime Minister.

- Organize propaganda to inform people and businesses about the results achieved during the implementation of the Plan.
