To coordinate in giving guidelines regarding positions of civil servants and public employees in communication activities

On March 21, 2023, the Prime Minister of Vietnam issued Directive 07/CT-TTg on strengthening policy communication.

According to Directive 07/CT-TTg, the Prime Minister of Vietnam assigned the Ministry of Home Affairs of Vietnam to coordinate with the Ministry of Information and Communications in providing guidance on employment positions, staffing norms for civil servants, and public employees in charge of communication;

Ensuring compliance with the provisions of Decree 62/2020/ND-CP on employment positions and civil servant payrolls and Decree 106/2020/ND-CP on employment positions and the number of people working in public non-business units.

In addition, the Prime Minister also requested Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency, and press agencies to regularly and closely coordinate with ministries, branches, and localities in policy communication;

Strengthen and improve the quality of policy communication, accelerate the digital transformation of newspapers, apply technology, innovate multimedia communication methods to create effective policy communication.
