To control the process of pruning urban trees to ensure safety in Vietnam's rainy season

On May 25, 2021, the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam issued Dispatch 1877/BXD-GD on prevention and control natural disasters to ensure safety for people, houses and construction works in the rainy and stormy season in 2021.

According to the Official Dispatch, the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam proposed the People's Committees of provinces and cities in Vietnam continue implementing a number of points:

- For technical infrastructure construction in Vietnam:

Control the process of pruning urban trees to ensure safety in the rainy season.
Ensure electrical safety and supply clean water to flooded areas.
Review and inspect the water drainage systems of urban areas to ensure the prevention of inundation when it rains or floods.
Inspect safety measures for key technical infrastructure and technical infrastructure systems in urban areas.

- For planning work in Vietnam: review, update, and add solutions to respond to natural disasters and climate change into urban and residential area planning. As planned, gradually relocate the population to a safe area.
