To complete the amendments to Vietnam's Land Law 2013 in 2023

The Government of Vietnam issued Resolution 18-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022. on "Orientations towards improvement of regulations and policies to enhance quality and efficiency of land management and use, creating a driving force to turn our country into a high-income developed country".

According to the Resolution, the goal is to complete the amendments to Land Law 2013 and a number of related laws by 2023, ensuring the synchronism and consistency.

To achieve this goal, a number of tasks and solutions are given as follows:

- Renovating and improving the quality of master plans and plans on land use;

- Finalizing regulations on land allocation, land lease and land use purpose change;

- Finalizing regulations on compensation, support, resettlement and land recovery for defense and security purposes; socio-economic development for national and public interests;

- Finalizing the land price determination mechanism;

- Finalizing financial mechanisms and policies on land;

- Finalizing legal regulations related to the real estate market, including the market for land use rights;

- Perfecting mechanisms and policies on management and use of agricultural land;

- Developing regulations for multi-purpose land management and use.
