To announce 03 amended administrative procedures in the railway sector in Vietnam

Announcing 03 amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the railway sector within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Transport, including:

- Issuing train driving licenses to train drivers on currently operating railway lines, in which the implementing agencies are: Vietnam Railways Department, People's Committees of provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh City, and Thai Nguyen.

- Issuing train driving licenses to the first train drivers on newly put-in-operation urban railway lines with technology used for the first time in Vietnam. The implementing agencies are the Vietnam Railways Department and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

- Reissuing driving license. The implementing agency is the Vietnam Railways Department and the People's Committees of provinces and cities: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh City, and Thai Nguyen.

Application for train driver's license for train drivers on currently operating railways in Vietnam

Dossier to request a test for a driving license includes:

(1) The original paper document or electronic copy of the railway enterprise's request to organize a test and issue a train driving license according to the form;

(2) Records of attached individuals:

- Original or electronic copy of the application for testing for a driving license according to the form;

- Original or electronic copy, certified copy, or certified electronic copy of the certificate of fitness for train driving according to regulations of the Minister of Health;

- A certified copy or a certified electronic copy of the license or specialized certificate for driving a railway vehicle appropriate to the type of vehicle being tested;

- 03 3x4cm color photos or electronic photos taken within no more than 06 months from the date of application submission.
