To amend the list of veterinary drugs containing narcotics and precursors in Vietnam

On September 28, 2022, the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam issued Circular13/2022/TT-BNNPTNT amending the Circulars on veterinary drug management.

According to Vietnam's Circular 13/2022/TT-BNNPTNT, amendments to the list of veterinary drugs containing narcotics and precursors are as follows:

- Supplement the List of veterinary drugs containing narcotic substances and precursors in Appendix I, promulgated together with Appendix XI of Vietnam's Circular 13/2022/TT-BNNPTNT.

- Supplement the List of narcotic substances and precursors being veterinary drug ingredients containing narcotics and precursors in Appendix I promulgated together with Appendix XII of Vietnam's Circular 13/2022/TT-BNNPTNT.

In addition, Vietnam's Circular 13/2022/TT-BNNPTNT also abolishes and replaces the annexes related to the management of veterinary drugs containing narcotics and precursors in Circular 13/2016/TT-BNNPTNT, including including:

- Remove the registration form for export and import of veterinary drugs containing narcotics, precursors, and veterinary drug ingredients containing narcotics (Appendix I).

- Replace Appendix VII with Appendix VII in Appendix I issued together with Vietnam's Circular 13/2022/TT-BNNPTNT.

- Replace Appendix X (List of veterinary drug active ingredients belonging to an important antibiotic group) with Appendix X in Appendix I, issued together with Vietnam's Circular 13/2022/TT-BNNPTNT.

Vietnam's Circular 13/2022/TT-BNPNT takes effect from November 12, 2022.
