Below is the content of the Government of Vietnam's Decree 128/2022/ND-CP amending Decree 38/2021/ND-CP and Decree 129/2021/ND-CP stipulates administrative sanctions on culture and advertising.
According to Vietnam's Decree 128/2022/ND-CP, for example, the addition of regulations on penalties for violations of regulations on prohibited acts in cinematographic activities is as follows:
- A fine ranging from VND 10,000,000 to VND 20,000,000 shall be imposed for failing to notify competent state agencies when disseminating films at public movie venues.
- A fine ranging from VND 40,000,000 to VND 50,000,000 shall be imposed for one of the following acts:
+ Disseminating movies on the cinema system, on the television system, and at public movie venues without a license to classify movies or decide to broadcast;
+ Distributing movies without classification in cyberspace and displaying classification results in accordance with regulations in Vietnam;
+ Altering or falsifying film content or classification results that have been granted a film classification license or broadcast decision;
+ Film distribution and distribution with decisions to revoke film classification licenses or broadcasting decisions...
