Time limit for submitting to the Government of Vietnam the law projects under the Law and Ordinance Development Program in 2024 is notable point specified in Decision 805/QD-TTg dated July 6, 2023, to assign the agency in charge of drafting, the deadline for submitting law projects is adjusted in the Law and Ordinance Development Program in 2023 and law projects under the 2024 Law and Ordinance Development Program promulgated by the Prime Minister.

The time limit for submitting to the Government of Vietnam the law projects under the Law and Ordinance Development Program in 2024 is as follows:

- Law on Notary (amended): January 2024;

- Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Guards: January 2024;

- Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations: January 2024;

- Law on Cultural Heritage (amended): January 2024;

- Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Pharmacy: February 2024;

- Law on Geology and Minerals: February 2024;

- Law on People's Air Defense: February 2024;

- Law on Urban and Rural Planning: February 2024;

- Employment Law (amended): June 2024.

In addition, based on the assignment, ministers and heads of ministerial-level agencies are in charge of drafting revised law projects in the 2023 Law and Ordinance Development Program, and law projects under the Law and Ordinance Development Program in 2024 must directly direct the development of law projects, ensuring progress and quality in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Promulgation of Legislative Documents;

Carry out a full review of relevant documents to detect and handle differences between the provisions of current legal documents and those to be promulgated, avoiding conflicts and overlaps between documents;

Collect opinions from agencies, organizations, and individuals, especially those who are directly affected by the document; prevent the planting of "group interests" and "local interests" in law-making;

Focus on strictly implementing the solutions assigned in the Government's Resolutions; consider the completion of the Program as one of the bases for assessing the level of task completion.
