The State Bank of Vietnam's administrative reform plan in 2021

Recently, the State Bank of Vietnam has issued the Decision No. 2250/QĐ-NHNN promulgating the administrative reform plan in 2021.

According to the Decision No. 2250/QĐ-NHNN of the State Bank of Vietnam, in order to reform and perfect the institution, promote the application of technology, modernize the operating method and improve the quality of human resources of the State Bank of Vietnam, the reform of administrative procedures is carried out by specific methods as follows:

- To organize the drastic and effective implementation of resolutions and directions of the Government and the Prime Minister of Vietnam on cutting business conditions in the fields of banking activities;

- Reducing and simplifying at least 10 regulations on administrative procedures and business conditions and cutting at least 5% of compliance costs related to business activities of credit institutions, businesses and people;

- Strictly control credit institutions, ensuring simple, effective, transparent and economical administrative procedures;

- Strengthen the inspection at the units of the State Bank of Vietnam on the implementation and handling of administrative procedures;

- Continue to promote reform of internal administrative procedures of the State Bank of Vietnam; effectively implement the one-stop-shop mechanism in administrative procedures.
