On July 08, 2024, the State Audit Office of Vietnam issued Decision 1337/QD-KTNN on the Code of Conduct for State Auditors.

Specifically, the 09 Codes of Conduct for State Auditors include:

- Compliance with legal regulations;

- Conduct in performing auditing tasks;

- Conduct in relations with the audited entities;

- Conduct in internal relations within the State Audit Office;

- Conduct in relations with related agencies and organizations;

- Conduct in performing tasks of preventing and combating corruption, negative behaviors, and practicing thrift and preventing wastefulness;

- Conduct in public places and in social activities;

- Conduct within the family;

- Conduct in other relationships.

The specific code of conduct within the family is stipulated as follows:

- Must set an example by complying with the law and the regulations where they reside; actively propagating, educating, and encouraging family members to strictly and correctly adhere to the Communist Party's guidelines, policies, and regulations of the State; supporting the movement of the entire population to unite, build a cultural family, and contribute to maintaining social order and community stability.

- Must not let the spouse; parents, direct caregivers or the parents, and direct caregivers of the spouse; biological children, adopted children, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law; biological siblings; biological siblings of the spouse exploit their position for personal gain.

- Must not engage in domestic violence; must not live with another person as spouses. If they or their children marry foreigners or Vietnamese residing abroad, they must report honestly to the organization. State auditors who are party members must not violate population policy and family planning regulations.

- Must not organize weddings, funerals, holidays, Tet, birthdays, wedding anniversaries, longevity celebrations, housewarming parties, promotions, job transfers, and other events for themselves or their families luxuriously, wastefully, or with the intent to procure personal gain.
