The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued Official Dispatch No. 4462/BGDDT-QLCL formally announcing the organization of the National High School Graduation Exam and regular university and college admissions from 2018.

The Ministry decides to maintain the organization of the National High School Graduation Exam in the following years as in 2017, and simultaneously proposes the implementation roadmap as follows:

- Continue to develop a standardized test question bank, enhancing the differentiation level of the test according to the current general education program and orienting the content according to the roadmap of the new general education program;- In the following years (from 2018 to 2020), organize tests, exam subjects to remain stable as in 2017;- Starting from 2021, the tests, exam subjects will be designed in accordance with the implementation roadmap of the new general education program. If conditions permit, candidates may be allowed to take tests on computers.
