This is a noteworthy content stipulated in Notification 178/TB-VPCP regarding the conclusion of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam - Head of the Price Steering Committee at the meeting of the Price Steering Committee for the first quarter of 2020.
TTCP requests, in order to effectively control pork prices in the coming period, based on respecting market principles and legal regulations, that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) implement synchronized measures to promptly reduce live pig prices to about 60,000 VND/kg, striving to achieve this in April or early May while ensuring reasonable benefits; furthermore, TTCP also requests:
- Not to consider increasing electricity prices in 2020;- To regulate gasoline prices to remain stable or not increase abruptly, contributing to the stabilization of domestic market prices;- To regulate in order to stabilize the paddy and rice market; rice import and export (I&E) should be unified on the principle of respecting market mechanisms to ensure national food security, national reserves, and farmers' interests;- …
