The Ministry of Finance of Vietnam reduced 30 types of fees and charges to support people facing difficulties due to Covid-19

On June 24, 2021, the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam issued Circular 47/2021/TT-BTC on the rate of number of fees and charges in order to support those who are facing difficulties due to Covid-19 epidemic.

According to the Circular, the collection of 30 fees and charges will be reduced in Vietnam from July 1, 2021, to the end of December 31, 2021, for example, as follows:

- Fee for appraisal of conditional business in the field of feed, environmental treatment and improvement products used in aquaculture in Vietnam: 90% of the fee rates specified in point 3 Section II of the schedule of fee and charge rates in the field of control of material quality in aquaculture issued together with Circular 284/2016/TT-BTC;

- Charge for issuance of license for establishment and operation of a bank in Vietnam: 50% of the fee rates specified at Point a, Section 1 of the schedule of fee rates specified in Clause 1, Article 4 of the Circular 150/2016/TT-BTC, specifically:

+ The first grant is 70,000 VND/license.

+ Issuance, renewal, and extension are 35,000 VND/license.

Charge for issuance of passports, entry and exit permits, exit permits, AB stamps in Vietnam: 80% of the charge rates specified in Part I of the schedule of fees and charges promulgated together with Circular 219/2016/TT- BTC;..

Circular 47/2021/TT-BTC takes effect from July 1, 2021, to the end of December 31, 2021.
