The level of academic funding for lecturers in Vietnam studying doctoral programs in the country

This is the content of the Circular 30/2022/TT-BTC june 3, 2022 on the financial mechanism for the Project on Capacity building of lecturers and managers of higher education institutions in Vietnam in the period 2019-2030.

Specifically, the contents and level of support for study and research funding for lecturers in Vietnam studying doctoral programs in the country are as follows:

- Regarding funding support for learners in Vietnam to implement thesis topics, attend seminars and conferences in the country:

+ Group of medicine, sports, arts: 20 million VND/learner/year;

+ Group of natural science, engineering, technology; agriculture, forestry, aquaculture: VND 18 million/learner/year;

+ Groups of social sciences, economics, law; hotels, tourism and other sectors: VND 13 million/learner/ year;

Support period: During studying at a training institution in Vietnam (no more than 4 years).

- Regarding funding support for learners in Vietnam to publish international scientific articles, attend international conferences and seminars and go to short-term internships abroad in accordance with Point b, Clause 2, Article 4 of Circular 30/2022/TT-BTC.

Circular 30/2022/TT-BTC takes effect from July 20, 2022.
