The Government of Vietnam provides opinions on 06 legislative proposal requests and 01 ordinance project

In Resolution 240/NQ-CP, the Government of Vietnam has given opinions on 06 proposals for law creation, including:

(1) Proposal to create a Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on economical and efficient use of energy,

(2) Proposal to create the Atomic Energy Law (amended),

(3) Proposal to create the Law on enforcement of temporary detention, custody, and travel ban,

(4) Proposal to create a Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on enforcement of criminal judgments,

(5) Proposal to create a Law on the organization of local government (amended),

(6) Proposal to create a Law on the organization of the Government of Vietnam (amended).

- 01 ordinance project:

Ordinance project on the management and protection of the Mausoleum Complex of President Ho Chi Minh.

In Resolution 240/NQ-CP, the Government of Vietnam also assigned the Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Chairpersons of the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities:

- To focus on directing the drafting promptly, submitting for issuance or issuing under their authority the detailed regulatory documents, guiding the implementation of the Laws and Ordinances passed by the National Assembly at the 7th and 8th sessions, avoiding the backlog of documents.

- To continue reviewing the laws, legal documents, promptly detecting any obstacles, outdated content compared to actual practice or arising issues in practice that lack legal regulations to propose improvements to the legal system;

- To directly direct the work of drafting legal documents of their sectors, and their localities; to focus on investing resources, facilities, human resources, leadership, direction, and effectively organizing implementation; be proactive in identifying obstacles and problems in law enforcement and develop proactive solutions to resolve them.
