The General Department of Taxation's request regarding the supplementation of a list of taxpayers with auto transport business code in Vietnam

Specifically, in accordance with the direction of the General Director of the General Department of Taxation on the organization of an industry-wide online conference to implement tax management and prevent under-collection of tax value for taxpayers engaged in auto transport business, the Departments of Taxation of provinces and centrally-run cities are requested to conduct a review and report on the following:

- Report on the coordination with the Department of Transport and other relevant state management agencies in tax management for taxpayers engaged in the auto transport business:

Provide a clear report on the coordination of information exchange with the Department of Transport regarding the issuance of licenses for auto transport business, information on the routes of each vehicle, information on the Delivery Order, transportation contracts (application of information connectivity if any), etc.

- Tax management activities of the Departments of Taxation (including the Sub-Departments of Taxation) for taxpayers engaged in passenger transportation by automotive vehicles: achieved results, management experience, tax law violations by taxpayers through inspection and audit activities, difficulties, and shortcomings regarding policies on tax management (if any).

Provide a list of active enterprises, cooperatives, and individual businesses engaged in auto transport business in the area (attached form).

- Report on the declaration and payment of taxes by taxpayers engaged in the auto transport business during the period from 2021 to 2023 and the first quarter of 2024 (attached form).

- Review and add the list of taxpayers with a business code in the automotive transportation sector (the General Department of Taxation has extracted the list of taxpayers with a business code in the transportation sector).
