On January 08, 2020, the Government of Vietnam issued Decree 08/2020/ND-CP on the organization and operation of the Bailiff.

Standards for Appointment of Enforcement Officers Applicable from February 24, 2020 as Follows:

- Being a Vietnamese citizen not over 65 years old, residing in Vietnam, complying well with the Constitution and the law, having good ethical qualities;- Possessing a university degree or postgraduate degree in law;- Having a legal working experience of 03 years or more at relevant agencies or organizations after obtaining the university or postgraduate degree in law;- Graduating from a training course, being recognized as having equivalent training or completing the refresher course for the profession of Enforcement Officer as stipulated in Article 7 of Decree 08/2020/ND-CP;- Meeting the requirements of the apprenticeship result examination for the Enforcement Officer profession.
