Temporary Suspension of Overseas Business Trips, Unless Permitted by the Prime Minister

This is one of the notable contents in Directive 02/CT-BTC on continuing to implement tasks and solutions to strengthen the work of prevention, control, and response to the Covid-19 pandemic, issued on March 13, 2020.

To mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the socio-economic situation, the Minister of Finance requests the Heads of units under and affiliated with the entire Finance sector to:

- Continue implementing appropriate solutions to respond to all situations, avoiding being passive;- Organize isolation or monitor individuals who have been in contact with patients according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Health; review individuals who have entered the country in the past 14 days but are not subject to centralized quarantine, promptly identify sources of infection;- Temporarily suspend overseas business trips; special cases must be approved by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam; advise the public against going abroad, especially to regions with outbreaks;- Limit the organization of meetings, events, and activities with large gatherings;- ...
