On November 24, 2023, the Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam issued Circular 16/2023/TT-BTTTT on “National technical regulations on mobile communication repeater equipment E-UTRA FDD - Radio access part”.
At the request of the Director of the Department of Science and Technology, the Minister of Information and Communications promulgates a Circular regulating national technical regulations on mobile communication repeater equipment E-UTRA FDD—Radio Access Part (QCVN 111:2023/BTTTT) as follows:
(1) Regarding the scope of adjustment
QCVN 111:2023/BTTTT regulates technical requirements for E-UTRA FDD mobile communication repeater devices (repeater stations) that can operate in the entire frequency band or part of the frequency band.
(2) Regarding applicable subjects
QCVN 111:2023/BTTTT applies to Vietnamese and foreign organizations and individuals engaged in the manufacturing and trading of equipment within the scope of the regulation of QCVN 111:2023/BTTTT in the territory of Vietnam.
(3) Regarding the responsibilities of organizations and individuals
Relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing regulations on certification and declaration of conformity of equipment within the scope of QCVN 111:2023/BTTTT and subject to inspection by state management agencies according to current regulations.
(4) Regarding implementation organization
- Department of Telecommunications, the Department of Radio Frequency, and the Departments of Information and Communications are responsible for organizing, implementing, guiding, and managing radio devices according to QCVN 111:2023/BTTTT.
- The regulation is applied to replace National Technical Regulation QCVN 111:2023/BTTTT "National technical regulation on mobile communication repeater equipment E-UTRA FDD—Radio access part".
- In case the regulations stated in QCVN 111:2023/BTTTT are changed, supplemented, or replaced, the provisions in the new document will comply.
- During the implementation of this standard, if any problems or difficulties arise, relevant organizations and individuals should report in writing to the Ministry of Information and Communications (Department of Science and Technology) for guidance and solutions.
