Tasks and solutions of the Vietnam Surveying and Mapping Industry Development Strategy

This is the content of the Resolution 40/NQ-CP in 2023, approving the Strategy for developing Vietnam's Surveying and Mapping industry and building a national geospatial data infrastructure until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

The tasks and solutions of the Vietnam Surveying and Mapping Industry Development Strategy include:

- Improve institutions and legal policies on surveying and mapping.

- Develop and complete a system of standards and technical regulations on data, surveying, and mapping products, ensuring synchronization and accuracy that is convenient for common use.

- Complete and publish data from national measurement networks.

- Build and update the national geographic database.

- Measure and creating specialized maps.

- Build a national geospatial data infrastructure.

- Innovate management and improve efficiency in exploiting and using information, data, and surveying and mapping products.

- Scientific research, technology application and development, and international cooperation in surveying and mapping.

- Training and fostering human resources to meet the development of the Surveying and Mapping industry.

- Innovate the mechanism for implementing surveying and mapping tasks; innovate and build economic and technical norms.
