Table of Percentage Levels of Bodily Injury Valid from November 01, 2019

The Ministry of Health has just issued Circular 22/2019/TT-BYT stipulating the percentage of bodily injuries used in forensic examination and forensic psychiatric examination.

Effective from November 1, 2019, four new body injury percentage tables (TTCT) will be implemented, issued together with Circular 22, including:

- Table 1: Percentage rate of TTCT due to injuries used in forensic examinations;- Table 2: Percentage rate of TTCT due to diseases used in forensic examinations;- Table 3: Percentage rate of TTCT due to sequelae of mental and behavioral disorders following trauma, brain injuries used in forensic psychiatric examinations;- Table 4: Percentage rate of TTCT due to mental and behavioral disorders used in forensic examinations.

Note, one principle for determining the body injury percentage is that for body parts that have lost function and are now injured, the TTCT percentage is calculated as 30% of the TTCT percentage of that body part.

For details, see Circular 22/2019/TT-BYT, effective from November 1, 2019.
