Suspension of Provision Requiring Family Member Names on the Land Use Rights Certificate

Recently, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment signed and promulgated Circular 53/2017/TT-BTNMT on suspending the enforcement of Clause 5, Article 6 of Circular 33/2017/TT-BTNMT related to fully recording the information of household members in the land use rights certificate.

Circular 53/2017/TT-BTNMT takes effect from December 5, 2017. Consequently, from this time, the provision requiring the listing of individual family members jointly holding land use rights on the certificate of land use rights, ownership of assets attached to the land, is suspended.

Accordingly:

- The General Department of Land Management is responsible for guiding and organizing the implementation of the provisions of Circular 53.- People's Committees at all levels, Departments of Natural Resources and Environment of provinces, centrally-run cities, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing the provisions of Circular 53.
